I bought 2 of the gifts and then connected to my Kongregate account. I no longer have the gifts and it starts they are already purchased.

First, try rebooting your game. It can desync you from the Cloud if your internet connection has even a hiccup (including during loading or during play).
If that doesn't work, then try fully Exiting Steam (this means actually clicking "Exit Steam" so that it completely closes, not just goes down to a background task, then reload it.
If those don't work, send an email to [email protected] detailing the issue; make sure to include your Cloud ID number, which you can acquire by clicking on it in the settings menu in-game (it copies it to your clipboard if you click it).
